FAQ


How quickly will I receive my order?

In a word- QUICK!  

Invitations, stationery, and Momager Calling Card proofs are usually emailed in 1-2 business days of receipt of order. Photo Card proofs take 2-3 days. Orders usually ship from Paperlicious 1-3 business days after final proof approval. Photo Cards usually ship 2-3 business days after proof approval. Your order ships from our Charlotte, NC location. You will be notified via automatic USPS or UPS email with your shipping information. Our hours are 9am-7pm EST Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Orders received, or orders in progress on Saturday/Sunday or major holidays will resume on Monday. (Though we do try to work most weekends and holidays too, we don't guarantee order processing on those days.)

Shipping Disclaimer:
In an effort to minimize shipping costs, we offer USPS priority 2-3 day delivery. For priority mail orders, there is a delivery confirmation but no insurance or tracking. We cannot guarantee the timeliness nor performance of this shipping service, though we have found the USPS to be mostly on-time and reliable. We cannot be responsible for lost packages marked undeliverable by the USPS or for packages marked "delivered" by the USPS. Please assure the accuracy of the shipping address. Should you require an expedited shipping service and/or insurance, we strongly recommend you choose USPS Express Overnight or UPS shipping. Priority orders without insurance confirmed "delivered" by the USPS cannot be refunded if lost, misplaced, or stolen. As a courtesy to our customers, we will gladly reprint these orders for a 30% discount plus shipping. Orders that are never confirmed delivered (except those noted as undeliverable) by the USPS or UPS will be replaced by Paperlicious LLC at our expense. Recipients of orders shipping to all international destinations are responsible for all duties and taxes. There is a $1.30 flat handling charge included in each shipping charge.

What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, please email us at CS AT paperlicious.com (replace AT with @) and we will do our best to remedy the situation. If there is a mistake on a custom printed item on Paperlicious' part, we will reprint and reship the item at no cost. If there is a mistake on a custom printed item due to an oversight by the customer, including approving an incorrect proof, we will gladly reprint the items for a 30% discount off original store product price plus shipping. Promotional discounts cannot be applied. Approved proofs cannot be revised once the order has printed. Paperlicious makes every effort to correct egregious spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors; however due to the large volume of proofs we create, we cannot be responsible for customer mistakes.

We must be notified at cs[AT]paperlicious.com (replace AT with @) of all mistakes within ten (10) business days. After ten business days, all reprints will be at customer's full expense, no matter the cause. We can only accept returns on stock items. We do not accept returns on blank invitation stock. Custom printed items cannot be returned. We cannot give any remedy on Photo Card orders in which the photo used is deemed by our designers to be of poor quality but used anyway at the request of the customer. Custom orders may only be canceled and issued a refund PRIOR to the proof being emailed. If a cancellation request is made AFTER a proof has been emailed, regardless of approval status, we will only issue a refund minus a $8.50 CANCELLATION FEE for time/resources used. Pre-printed samples are free, so when in doubt, please request a sample before placing your order. Samples are not customized for your order; rather they are pre-printed samples of the particular invitation style so that you can get a feel for the paper and see the printing process and colors first hand. In the event that the customer requests a refund on a stock item, no refund will be given until all product is returned to Paperlicious in it's original condition and packaging, at the customer's expense.

Do you sell blank invitations?

Yes, we will sell blank invitations. However, we do not guarantee the printed outcome as all printers and production methods differ. We will say that we have never had a report to the contrary. If/when we do, we'll update this section. Blank invitations are not returnable. All sales on Blank invitations are final.

What type of paper do you use?

The papers we use are from Neenah Environment, a supporter of sustainable forests. All papers are Made in the USA with 100% recycled. The paper is also elemental chlorine free, acid free, and archival.

How do I know what kind of image to use for the photo card?

"All printing is flat printing." What exactly does that mean?

Flat printing refers to the feel of the finished product. The ink, once laid on the paper, appears flat to the touch, rather than raised as in thermography or engraving, or slightly indented as in letterpress.

What is your printing process?

For everything but photo cards, we use a professional digital four-color laser printing process which means the toner (i.e. "ink") is directly laid down on each sheet of paper (rather than indirectly through a plate or template). This allows us to personally print each order for each customer, which means we can easily make specific customizations upon request! Photo Cards are printed on a high end photo printer which uses UltraChrome pigment ink.

How will my order be formatted?

Custom orders will be formatted as shown on samples unless otherwise specified on custom printing form. We will adjust formatting to accommodate the information you give us. The reverse side of all products are labeled with our Paperlicious tag lines on the bottom center printed in light grey ink.

Why does the color(s) on my order look slightly different from what I see on the website?

Slight variations in the printing process might occur from order to order. Colors may also vary slightly from hard copy samples. Actual colors shown on this website may vary slightly, as all monitors display colors differently based on individual capabilities.

 What days are you closed?

We are closed Saturday and Sunday and cannot ship USPS packages all major postal holidays including:

Do you accept completely custom requests?

On occasion, Paperlicious designers will accept a completely custom project. We work closely with the client to create their perfect design based on a per hour rate plus the cost of printing. Please email us at:

What is your privacy and security policy in regard to my personal information?

Paperlicious is committed to protecting that privacy of our customers. The information collected in your shopping cart is solely for processing your order. Our website is secured with a GeoTrust SSL SSL Certificate, which enables encryption of sensitive information during online transactions, is in use. When you see “https” in your browser address window or the locked icon on the bottom right of your browser during the checkout process, you know that you are on a secure server.

We fulfill all of our orders, with the exception of custom thermography requests, in-house. We will not share, sell, or rent collected information in any way, other than where required by law.
